The watch manufacturer wins the prize in Cannes
For one event, the color of the famous carpet in Cannes was no longer red, but green. The MIPIM (International Market of Real Estate Professionals) is the largest real estate exhibition in the world. And it was in Cannes that an international jury awarded prizes to projects completed or under construction. The competition was tough: some 180 entries from 38 countries. Despite this fierce competition, one Swiss project won! It is the new Audemars Piguet fine watchmaking factory in Le Locle (NE), to be completed in 2021. It won the prize in the “Best industrial and logistics project” category. The jury particularly appreciated the discreet integration of the factory in the heights of the watchmaking town in the Neuchâtel mountains. But why mention the color green? Because one of the selection criteria was the alignment with the project’s sustainable development objectives and its integration into its environment. And at FORSTER-PAYSAGE, that’s why we get up every morning.
